Oksana’s practice focuses on supporting adults and adolescents to navigate their current situation as well as what lies beneath: thoughts of worthlessness, lack of direction and meaning in life, domestic challenges, trauma, life transitioning circumstances, codependency and the corresponding changes in identity and relationships.

Oksana’s style of therapy is informal, compassionate, wholistic and responsive to each person’s unique needs, idenifying their strengths and options to develop strategies to achieve their goals. She will guide those willing to explore themselves and build a greater understanding of the different aspects of their experience, from the emotional, mental, and physical, to the family, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions.

Using a variety of evidence-based tools and techniques, Oksana will help clients reconnect with their existing strengths and cultivate additional resources that support progress toward the changes they wish to make. Depending on specific needs, she draws from a number of therapeutic modalities, all incorporating a respectful, strengths-based, person-centred and recovery-oriented approach. Oksana’s practice is grounded in developmental, trauma-informed and solution-focused therapy within a family systems theoretical model. She frequently calls on creative interventions, mindfulness and somatic resources to align the mind / body / spirit connection and considers cultural respect essential to her therapeutic approach.

Oksana facilitates both in-patient and out-patient programs at South Pacific Private Hospital in Curl Curl on Sydney’s Northern Beaches https://www.southpacificprivate.com.au/ as well as workshops and private practice in Manly and Crows Nest in Sydney.
